Sent Away

In this sermon, we explore the story of a man who was possessed by demons and lived in a state of torment and danger until he was delivered by Jesus. The man, who had been sent away from his home town, had been living among the tombs when Jesus arrived on the scene. After a dramatic transformation, he was found sitting at Jesus' feet, clothed and in his right mind.

While the people of the town were fearful and asked Jesus to leave, the man who had been delivered had a different desire: to be with Jesus. In this message, we will explore the power of Jesus to transform lives and the desire that we, as believers, should have to be with him.

Through this story, we see that no one is beyond the reach of Jesus' love and power. His desire is to transform our lives and bring us into a closer relationship with him. As we examine the desires expressed in this story, we will reflect on our own desires and the ways in which we can draw closer to Jesus and experience the transformation he offers.
